Non-corrosive Halogen-Free, Low Residue Rework Flux
ALPHA NR205 is a halogen-free, rosin free, low solids, no-clean rework flux. With essentially no residue remaining after soldering, ALPHA NR205 was developed with a modified surface tension to aid in soldering boards that have surface mount and high component densities.

This flux formulation possesses improved wetting characteristics and superior corrosion inhibiting properties and provides a non-tacky residue.

An advantage of ALPHA NR205 is that it is halogen-free, providing both environmental benefits and higher reliability.

Product Overview
ALPHA NR205 has been specifically formulated to resist degradation in surface insulation resistance and electromigration, even in situations where the flux does not experience soldering temperatures and when heavy levels of flux have been applied.

The residues are non-corrosive and do not cause “greening” when in contact with copper or copper-bearing alloys.

ALPHA NR205 is particularly well-suited for touch-up/rework when supplied in a flux pen. ALPHA ?WriteFlux? pens make local flux application an easily controlled process.
